And, who would be allied with the U.S.

This is just Pure curiosity.
China is the Closet thing to an ally North Korea has, although we don't know what would happen. If we launched a preemptive Strike against NK they might Come in on their Side. But if they attacked, especially with nuclear missiles, I don't know. Iran and Other middle eastern Powers could Take advantage of the situation and attack Israel or US troops in the Mid East if there were war in Korea. But as for actual allies, I don't know.
The US would no doubt have Europe, especially Britain; and Japan and of Course South Korea, I don't know where Russia would Fit in, if it joined. It was allied with North Korea when it was the Soviet Union, but I don't know what it would do now.
