How Long does it Take for Fuel to go From the Tank to the carburetor?
I just replaced my fuel lines on my 76 Chevy. When I try to Start it it won't start I think the problem I'm Not giving it enough Time to Reach the carburetor.
It is a Mechanical fuel but how long should I crank it before Gas should be getting there
I'm pretty sure you have a mechanical fuel Pump on the Side of Your Engine.
They don't pump Air Very Well. You may want to bleed the air Out of the System by opening the inlet side of the Pumps fuel Line and Blow into the gas tank to force fuel through the empty lines.
Prime the carburetor too. That means to prefill it.
