what to Use covering a hole that Fish gets stuck in, in a fish Tank decoration?
I have a Very pretty decoration, which I would Like to put Back in my tank, however One of my fish gets stuck in the hole and I need to Cover those holes, what should I cover it with that won't harm the Water or fish?
Rather than covering it, Can you Turn it upside Down and fill the Inside with gravel so the fish can't enter? Then place it back Right-Side up.
If the hole is too Large for this (the gravel falls Out), or if the hole is in the back or where you can't see it, Cut a Piece of Plastic Canvas (about 25 cents at WalMart Craft department) larger than the hole and put on that side to Hold the gravel in.
If it faces Front, you can still do this if you don't mind How it looks. You can also choose a Color that blends in with the ornament, or a Dark color (Black, dark Brown) that may Not be as noticeable, depending on how the Light hits it.
