How would you pack a guitar for a plane?
A Lot of people say they had no problem flying with guitars but I've read somewhere that Delta has a strict policy of no-instruments. So how would I pack my acoustic guitar for checkin? What Case should I put it in? I definitely know I have to Wrap it but what Other precautions do I have to follow?

Hey there! I have traveled quite a few times with my guitar and have found Out One this one convenient Piece of information: The staff on the Airplane are typically fascinated by musicians!
If there is Not Overhead Storage space for Your guitar, simply ask one of the flight attendants if there is Any Extra Room in the closets on the airplane. They usually have extra storage and are More than happy to help you. Just be sure to ask them politely! This has been my experience.
In case you do have to Check your guitar and get it placed in the crazy, crappy storage beneath the plane, pack it with Soft items and pack it so that it is snug. You don't want your guitar Sliding and bumping around in its case, even if there is nice padding on the Inside.
One thing I did recently to Cut Down on my baggage and protect my guitar was to put as Many of my clothes that I could around my guitar in my guitar case. I was able to Carry Half of my clothes for the trip and protect my guitar at the same Time!
And finally, one thing I do to prevent String breakage is to loosen up my strings a Little Bit, just for the flight. With different Pressure, elevations, humidity, and other scientific mumbo Jumbo, it Can Change the tension on your Neck and cause your strings to break. Just a Good precaution.
