How do you hill park with the Parking Brake by Your Feet?
When I am in the Car with the instructor, they Use the parking brake on the Right. In my 2000 Impala, the parking brake is by my feet. How do I hill park using this? Any help would be Great for my Drivers Test is tomorrow!
Contrary to what Most people think, you should Set the parking brake BEFORE putting the car in park. Then, if the car is facing downhill, Turn the Wheels towards the Curb, if your are facing up the hill, turn the wheels away From the curb so that should the car Roll, the Back wheels will hopefully Stop the car.
