What does it mean to pre-Heat Your oven before baking cookies?
In the recipe, it tells me to pre-heat the oven. Does that mean I have to already Start it up to bake? I dont really understand cuz I think the oven will burn Down. Im just a begginner, please dont laugh!

Turn the oven on to the correct baking temperature
Wait Five or More minutes until the oven is at that baking temperature then put the cookies into the already Hot oven.
Its ok to be a beginner - we All were in the beginning
By the Way, if you're baking cookies, Take them Out of the oven at least Two minutes earlier than the recipe tells you to. Cookies are always moister if they don't cook the whole Time.
