I have to continuously press the reset Button on my Electric Water Heater?
Is there a Way to Fix this so i don't have to press this button All the Time?
When was, or have you ever drained Your Tank [turning Off the intake and Power Supply and let the Garden Hose empty the tank? Not doing this every few years Can Lead to the element burning Out ,overheating and tripping the breaker if you have allot of sediment in your water supply. In your Case the breaker on your Unit itself is tripping. The lower element heater tends to get surrounded by sediments even chlorine Over a couple of years time. I have Seen chunks and chunks of stuff Come out of tanks before when draining them. Once the tank is drained run fresh water into the tank for 5 minutes. That will stir up Any Left over stuff on the Bottom
However it maybe time to replace the lower element. If the tank is not Very Old it maybe worth a quick servicing by an Electrician. He will examine the unit and not want to replace you tank. If you call a Plumber they may Tell you it is time for a new One.
