Cutting Ceiling joists to be Flush with Roof rafters?
I just Finished installing my roof rafters for my new Garage. The Ends of the ceiling joists are a Little higher than the rafters. I want to Cut this excess Off. What is the Best Way? Circular Saw or sawzall or is there a better way? Thanks

Wow this is a little backwards. In normal practice these are cut prior to Hanging the joists. I guess experience brings the benefit of foresight. Use a sawzall, and there is no need to be Real neat about it. The cut will Not significantly affect the Load Bearing capability of the joists.
