Is it true that taking Birth Control pill will reduce or even eliminate Your Natural pheromone production?
My friend was explaining to me about pheromones and How a girl releases Extra doses around her period, which tends to Make Men extra attracted to the girl. When a girl is on birthcontol though, the Body won't Release these extra pheromones during her period.
Another friend also said since birth control makes your body think it's pregnant, it doesn't release the pheromones AT All, and that's why guys tend to Not be as interested in girls on birthcontrol. Is this true?
The whole pheromone Issue is Very complex and not Well understood by doctors. But what is Clear is that your friends do not understand it AT ALL.
The Basic answer to what your friends are telling you is that it is nonsense. Your period does not Lead to extra pheromones. (And if you think about it, you will understand why. Nature wants to make babies. You are *Less* likely to get pregnant during your period. You are Most fertile during middle of your Cycle. That's when nature would want to make you More sexually attractive.)
Part of the problem is that humans do not have a Single pheromone, the Way some animals do. There are probably dozens of different chemicals that go into making up the pheromone complex. And just to further complicate matters, human sexuality seems to be less dependent on pheromones than Other animals. Human males males are visual, as you probably have noticed. 
They are attracted to girls much more by how they look than how they smell. This is different From Deer and polar bears. And animals Use pheromones to Tell Each other that they are receptive to sex and to Reproduction. Human women, by contrast, Can enjoy sex at Any Time. So we don't rely on pheromones the same way that animals do.
If you are sexually active and pregnancy would be a Disaster, you need to use contraception, and the pill is One very effective means to do that. It is not the Only choice, and it is not the Best choice for some girls and women, but it has nothing to do with pheromone production.
