How is it legal to force someone to join a union?
Asked in the context of teachers union. My local School district will Not hire you if you will not join the union. Is it legal for them NOT to hire you based on Your unwillingness to join the union regardless of your qualifications? It seems Like a Form of discrimination.
Welcome to the world of Unions. Some states are Right to Work states and you do not have to join the union. Most of those are in the South. However if you are in the North then you get to enjoy your union.
