Why do Cylinder Head valves have to be Round?
Why Can't cylinder valves have a Slot in the stem (to prevent Rotation) and have the Base be a Non-Circle Shape that makes better Use of space to allow Air in/Out??

You can Build cylinder Heads anyway you want to: Square valves, triangles, in fact you don't even have to use what people think a Valve is Like Reed valves or Sleeve valves like the willis st. Claire. (Bet Most of you don't know what that is)
However if you want efficiency, rotation & no Hot spots the std Overhead valves seem to Work OK in the Internal combustion Engine
